Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 2026

Your privacy is critically important to us. Doc2Door is fundamentally engineered to store and protect sensitive health and identity records securely, maintaining strict compliance with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. Collection and Storage of Information

We collect the information definitively required to connect you with a verified medical professional. All personal information you provide to the service is digitally transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely on strictly controlled backend database servers.

2. Sharing with Medical Professionals

When a request is initiated, your patient information will be shared directly with the assigned doctors specifically for use on that individual consultation. To perform on-demand home visits, your assigned doctors can and will specifically see your personal information, your exact physical address, and your contact information in order to navigate to your location and help you physically.

3. Internal Administrative Access

Under our strict operational protocol, the principal administrative practice team inside Doc2Door can see your patient information exclusively on a needs-to-know basis (such as intervening in disputes, facilitating emergency cancellations, or overriding failed payments).

4. Platform Analytics

We run generalized behavioral and traffic analytics on the service. These broad structural analyses are executed internally strictly in order to improve service delivery and response times within our active metropolitan zones.

5. Contact Information

For all privacy deletion requests, data queries, or official correspondence regarding the POPIA regulations governing your account, contact our internal support line directly at:
