Terms of Use

Last Updated: March 2026

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before registering an account or initiating a booking sequence on the Doc2Door platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Doc2Door, you legally accept and agree to be bound by the operational provisions of this agreement. Our terms natively align with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). If you do not legally consent to abide by these provisions, do not invoke our service.

2. Description of Service

Doc2Door is a technology matching platform designed to facilitate on-demand home medical visits by connecting verified patients directly with independent, licensed medical professionals. Doc2Door operates purely as the transactional liaison and does not itself legally offer or assume liability for medical advice or physical care outcomes.

3. Medical Emergencies

Doc2Door is strictly not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a severe, life-threatening medical emergency right now, put down your device and call 10111 or your local governmental emergency services immediately.

4. Refunds and Disputes

Doc2Door maintains a fair operational dispute engine. If a doctor fails to physically arrive to your designated location after explicitly accepting your verified booking, or if a catastrophic failure occurs during scheduling, a 100% money-back refund guarantee is provided.

Full refunds will simply be issued if you request a refund through the official support process rather than initiating a bank chargeback. Refunds typically process and clear the Stripe ledger back to your bank account within 3 to 5 business days natively.

5. Support Contacts

To formally request a refund on an abandoned appointment, report a doctor violation, or request structural assistance, you must write a formal query to our support line at:
